The print contains the text: Qui conceptus est de spiritu sancto, natus ex Maria virgine, the third article of faith: belief in the birth of Christ. Some shepherds kneel before the manger with the Christ child. Two angels beside the manger. In the background left the annunciation and in the background right the proclamation to the shepherds. The print has a Latin caption with a Bible quote referring to the Bible story depicted and a Latin caption about the Apostolic Creed. The third print in a 12-part series on the Creed.
