Moses and Aaron are represented in the left foreground, one of them seen from behind. Pharaoh is seated on his throne under a canopy. Aaron's staff and the rods of Pharaoh's sorcerers are turned into dragons or snakes, and Aaron's staff devours those of the sorcerers. At the back left is a gate, with a crowd of people below. Below is a reference to Exodus 7:10-12 and the title of the print is shown in Hebrew, English, German, Latin, French and Dutch.
