Christ sits on a cloud next to the Virgin Mary. He acts as judge, his arm raised. He is surrounded by groups of cherubs, saints and apostles. Below, we see the damned being tortured by devils in hell. Several elements of the scene are accompanied by letters corresponding to the legend in the margin.
