The MSK has developed a special route for visitors with children. Explore the 'Among Friends' exhibition together, make little works of art in the museum galleries, and return home with your own little art collection!
Chests in the galleries
The 'Among Friends' exhibition brings dozens of artworks from private collections to the museum. With the family route, we invite young and old to start collecting themselves. Throughout the exhibition galleries you'll find eight yellow chests. They contain material to make your own little work of art.
At the start of your visit, you will be given a map at the reception desk showing all the chests. Start searching, make your artworks and create your own art collection. Have you done them all? Then you'll receive an extra gift as a souvenir when you leave.
Discover the museum
You can of course also visit the rest of the museum afterwards. At the reception desk you can borrow a free audio guide for children from 6 years of age. It introduces you to some 20 works of art in the museum collection in an accessible way. You can recognise these works by the children's logo.
