Besides the fixed stops in the audio tour, there are now four in-depth themes to discover: Schoonvolk, Brussels Jazz Orchestra, Audio Description and LGBTQ+.

City walk Citadel Park (SOLD OUT)

What could be better than unwinding in Citadel Park between the festivities? And why not combine that rest with an informative walk through Ghent's (art) history? In one and a half hours, the guide will take you on a walk along the most beautiful spots in Citadel Park. Discover the history of the park and its close connection with the MSK!

Treasures of Fly

Open your ears wide and put your detective nose on edge, because this museum visit will be an adventure! During an exciting quest, children wander through the museum rooms together with their families, looking for hidden hints and mysterious clues among the works of art. Who can collect all the letters to unravel Fly's first name?

Restoration of the Ghent Altarpiece

Since 2023, 7 panels of the Ghent Altarpiece have been restored in the heart of the MSK. You could already follow the campaign from 2012 to 2019, and now the remaining panels are in the museum for the final restoration phase. During the week, you can meet the restorers of the Royal Institute of Art Heritage.
