On 3 April, it's Thursday Late again. This edition, MSK will collaborate with the Ghent tattoo studio NOIR for a real Flash Tattoo Night. Become a canvas yourself on which the museum collection is immortalised, take part in a drawing session or come and enjoy the new Jules De Bruycker exhibition.

Flash Tattoo Night
Eleven tattoo artists from Ghent tattoo studio NOIR each designed unique designs inspired by the MSK's collection in their own style. You can choose a tattoo during this Thursday Late and have it placed at the MSK!
Beware: each artist only has time for 4 tattoos, and each design will only be tattooed once and the places are limited so come on time. From 16:30 you can register at the reception with museum ticket. Prices start from 80 euros, depending on the design. Pay at NOIR.
Couldn't get a tattoo because places are full or your favourite design has already been chosen by someone else? Then you will receive a 10% reduction voucher to spend later at NOIR's tattoo studio.
For interested visitors who do not want a permanent tattoo, temporary tattoos and henna are also available.
Drawing session
Accompanied throughout the evening, you can also take part in a drawing session inspired by the MSK collection.
Guided Tour: Jules De Bruycker (in Dutch)
The Ghent artist Jules De Bruycker (Ghent, 1870-1945) was not only an exceptional printmaker. To this day, a core aspect of his oeuvre—his drawn works—has remained largely overlooked. This guided tour takes you through the work and life of this keen Ghent observer. De Bruycker was a masterful observer of human behavior, both in groups and as individuals: on the streets, at weekly markets, in the theater, and in the church.
Thursday Late
Besides the Flash Tattoo Night, Late Thursday offers plenty of other activities. Take part in a drawing session, feast your eyes on the new Jules De Bruycker exhibition, or explore the museum collection in the evening peace and quiet. Our audio guides are always at your disposal too, with the possibility of thematic tours around LGBTQ+ in the collection or the contemporary vision of the Schoonvolk crew.
