Oil study for The Triumph of Christ, a gigantic oil painting (6.25 x 11.04 meters) created by Antoine Wiertz between 1847 and 1848. The work was completed in his studio in an abandoned factory on Vossenstraat in Brussels and is now preserved by the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium (inv. 1965).
