By order of the Sanhedrin, the apostles John and Peter are publicly flogged by soldiers. In the background, Peter and John are preaching on the steps of the temple. With a Latin caption with a Bible passage from the Acts of the Apostles (Acts 5:40). The first print of a five-part series.
