Plaque Medal Portraying Sietske Wienecke, the Daughter of the Artist, 1914

In 1906, Dutch engraver Johannes Cornelis Wienecke had immortalised his mother on a plaque. Here, he portrayed his 15-year-old daughter, who was named after his mother. The plaque was a commission from the Dutch-Belgian Association the Medaillevrienden.
