The MSK turns 225, making us the oldest museum in Belgium! We'll kick off our festive year with a fantastic and free festive weekend in and around the museum, with the new exhibition, a historic ball, live performances and a DJ set, workshops and guided tours, food trucks and a Ghent makers' market.

7 to 11pm: public opening of the 'Albert Baertsoen' exhibition with live music by The Blue Parrot Jazz Band
7 to 1am: reception and food trucks

Saturday 𝟬𝟯.𝟬𝟵
10am to 6pm: food trucks and party tent, guided tours (in Dutch), search game 'the Intruder' for teenagers in collaboration with S.M.A.K.
10am to 6pm: historical bicycle parade
2 to 6pm: Ghent makers' market, children's workshops
5 to 6pm: dance initiation for 'Bal 1900'
7 to 2pm: 'Bal 1900'
6 to 11 p.m.: Late night opening of the museum
10pm to 01am: DJ Humphrey Peacock
